Haiti Cultural Recovery Project

Training Program

Into Haitian Hands

Training courses and workshops will enable several dozen Haitian museum staff, cultural workers and students to learn the arts and sciences of restoration.

Most of the training will be provided by the Rome-based International Centre for the Study of the Preservation and Restoration of Cultural Property (ICCROM), an intergovernmental organization created by UNESCO.

ICCROM staff will work closely with the Cultural Recovery Project in designing courses and workshops to train Haitians in various aspects of collections management, cultural materials preservation and restoration.
