Assessment of Cultural Materials
Determining the Status of Collections
The Cultural Recovery Project undertakes professional visits to sites and collections in order to assess their status. This includes museums, galleries, libraries, archives, television and radio stations and other sites, both public and private. In some cases, such as with architectural features and the murals at the Holy Trinity Episcopal Cathedral, this involves on-site studies. Project experts also assess collections, saved within buildings, in sea containers and other temporary shelters.
